"Stupid Hei," she grumbled teasingly. She leaned up and placed a soft kiss upon the sleeping male’s nose before maneuvering herself so that she rest on his lap and her head lay against his chest. Her eyes closed slowly, and she soon joined Hei in dreamland.
After a while, the contractor awoke and checked his phone. It seemed to be a slow night tonight. For whatever reason they haven’t called him for anything yet. [Whatever..] He thought to himself. Wasn’t something he was eager for anyway.
"I-I can’t help it." Idiot. He must not be used to someone waiting for him, freaking out, and practically walking holes into his floor. “You better not be, Hei. Or else I’ll have to kiss ‘ya to make you stay.”
"Yeah, you do that.." He said teasingly as he patted her head. Once again he shut his eye’s and waited for his mind to drift away into slumber.
Nodding, Mikki walked towards the door. Her hand hovering over the door knob, she thought over his question. After a few moments she answered quietly; “Rice and beef..” Quickly, she opened the door and slipped into the house, closing the door and locking it tightly behind her. Glancing over the apartment she was slightly surprised it was almost empty. Sighing to herself, Mikki walked over towards the corner of the room and sat down quietly.
As time passed, the sound of a car pulling up broke the silence in Hei’s apartment. The Reaper had gotten a ride from the police chief. As he got out and collected his things he thanked her with a smile and watched her drive off. When the car was finally out of sight, the smile that was on his face slowly faded away. Hei finally made his way towards his door. When he walked in, he closed the door behind himself and walked into the kitchen. He wasn’t planning on saying a word to his (self proclaimed) sister. At least not yet.
Sorry to cut it short like this. There’s just something I’ve really been wanting to do all day. If I’m unable to do it, I’ll come back on. Again sorry.
"Are you blind? Do you see what I look like? Honestly, if you owned a hotel would you let me stay there alone being my age?" Looking up at the other with a bored and questioning look, she barely waited a moment before speaking again. "I’d rather stay here, thank you very much.”
"Alright." Hei began walking away. "Go ahead and go inside. I’m sure you already know not to let anyone in. Anyway, I’m going to the store. Is there anything specific you want me to get?"
